No Bracelets Today! Vacation Pictures.

The wrapping paper and most of the gifts are finally put away and somewhat organized.  It was a really nice Christmas this year in the Statler home – albeit a hectic one for the magic elves who had to work double time to get things ready for us 10 days in advance of Christmas because we were leaving on vacation.

Now that the dust has settled a little,  (there seems to be a lot of dust in my  house lately) my focus today is on making the photo calenders we send out every year to the family across the country.  I am a huge shutterbug  – I absolutely love to take lots of photos.  I always order my photo calendars through Shutterfly because Shutterfly has buy one and get all other calendars at 50% off and free shipping on a $40 order or more!   http://www.shutterfly.com

Since photos are on my mind and I mentioned in an earlier post that we were headed to the Bahamas before Christmas, I thought I would share some photos with you.  This morning I got up bright and early and put together an iMovie on my Mac of some of my favorite photos from the trip.  The kids had the best time on the water slides, all the pools, lazy river, playing in the ocean, etc.

If you have a Mac and have not had time to learn iMovie  yet – it is not that hard and you really need to learn it.  I have had tons of fun making these fancy slide shows of my family.  You can use it for your craft or jewelry business too.  It is a great way to add photos, transitions, music and titles to pictures of your work to make it really catch your customer’s eye!

Wishing you a great day!  Stay tuned for a cool new bracelet I have thought up!  Tracy

  1. Your video won’t let me in! I get a message that says it’s a private video and that I have to accept your friend request. I’m not on FB but on your blog. What should I do?

    • Sorry Sally – thanks for the heads up! I forgot to change the privacy setting. It should be fixed now.
